Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1977, 1984, and 1989.
Our first stop this week is the bulk of the first set from the first show of the outstanding Spring Tour of 1977 at the Philadelphia Spectrum on 4/22/77: Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo ; Looks Like Rain ; Deal ; El Paso ; Tennessee Jed ; Estimated Prophet ; Peggy-O.
Next is the end of the show from another Philadelphia concert, although this one was at the Civic Center and not the Spectrum on 4/21/84: Space > Wharf Rat > Throwing Stones > Not Fade Away.
Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 4/29/89 at Irvine Meadows in Laguna Hills, CA: China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider ; Looks Like Rain ; He's Gone > Spoonful.
