... I have no doubts whatsoever. It would be a huge success.
No more crap from the peanut gallery.
I'm sure that a world tour would include a stop in Australia if not NZ.
Just as sure thousands would turn out and as a result sales of
music and merchandise would go up.
It would be a smart move on the part of The Dead
if they were in the mood for a little traveling

Melbourne isn't the arse end of the world.
That honour rests with Invercargill.
What beach is that you're standing on?
A bunch more - thousands upon thousands - would front up should anyone bother to tour here, and certainly a bunch more than "our" little and rather unrepresentative diehard club.
Oh well, I guess I'll just continue to disappear up my own arse-full of old hillbilly boogie rekkids! :)
Well, 12 in your little club hardly warrants a tour in Australia or NZ by any GD family band does it now. Ssheessh. The temerity of some people.
Any other Melbourne/Victoria etc Heads out there?
Our next meet is at Carol's place in Elwood. This Sunday the 29th of March at 6pm on.
Please contact me on 0411 030 952 or at email@example.com for all details!
Love to meet some new people...we have around 12 in our little club so far!
The Estimated Prophet
Why call it Eyes Of The World?
Shouldn't it more accurately be titled Eyes Of The US (And Tough Shit To The Rest Of You)?
So just out of interest - and before figuring out if I could afford the airfares - I tried to place an order through Live Nation for tix to the Dead's two Mountain View shows.
No dice. US or Canada only!
Yet some European Heads have had the temerity to moan about there being no European shows.
At least the band has toured Europe at various times, starting in 1972.
As far as I'm aware, no GD family band has ever performed in Australia or NZ.
So I'm back to ordering the CDs - and paying the rip-off shipping fees.
