This was another of those defining moments for me.15 years old...hitch-hiking around the Bay to all of these places where like-minded heads would be. To think that the elders (Leary, Ginsberg and Alpert,)there would lead us so far into the other possibilities for humanity. Truly blessed to be there.

Having gone to a half dozen 'Big Shows' up until this day, Iand my buds thought it was kinduva cool insider's deal... young and hopeful, thought maybe the world really would turn upside down...FREE music in The Park was big fun, & seemingly OUR thing ( 'our' being a not-so-small Circle of Friends)-hundreds/maybe thousands, but still, a small and very hip deal. At first, walking much Further than past music- in-The-Park mornings required, we were amazed/elated that there were SO DAMN MANY of 'us' ! As the day wore on, we realized that it wasn't a 'small circle' anymore. The World had found our little party and more would be coming every week-END ? Yeah, the beginning of the end...or so we thunk.
