    A Magical Night...
for me at least, on this evening at SF Civic, early before the show after I had settled my taping set-up and located several sets of seats in the balcony, I was introduced by a close friend to Kathy, my sweetheart.

    First show in a while
I flew down to visit my Sister and her family in Beserkely. Took my sis, her husband, and their then 12 year old daughter to the show. Nice to see Jerry back on his feet. Only time I ever saw them in San Francisco, so that was cool too. Very nice vibe to the Northwest shows I saw and this one was even mellower - great volleyball game on the floor during the set break! Not the best show ever, but it was just good to know the Grateful Dead was still around after the previous year's scare.
