Made it to this show while I was stationed in Hawaii (Coast Guard). My roomie and I caught a military (MAC) flight from Hickam Airforce base for $12.05 ($10 for the flight and $2.05 for the box lunch!). Bought what we thought was acid in the parking lot before the show, and it turned out to be only some purple smiley face blotter paper! No Dosing for us! Anyway, there were no flights back to Hawaii via MAC, so I ended up buying a one way ticket out of San Jose. What an expensive couple of days! WELL WORTH IT!!!

3rd show for me, after 10/01/88. I'd been wanting to go for a over a year, but just couldn't put it together in '89. Finally got my opportunity on 6/16/90. Only 18 at the time, hadn't been listening very long, and was still learning the whole repertoire, as most of my listening centered on Skull and Roses, Europe 72, Skeletons From the Closet (remember that one), and Dead Set/Reckoning with not much that was contemporary at the time. I distinctly remember the happy energy of the 1st set, with a hot Saturday Night closer. Great, long China/Rider to open the 2nd. I'd never heard Brent's song before, and Terrapin still seemed exotic to me, only having heard it a few times. At the time, I thought it was totally mind-blowing, but I only realized years later what a unique and well-played show it really was for that era. So awesome that they released it on video and now I can experience it anytime!

This was one of those you had to be there show punchlines. Unfortunately the people in my are were pretty stoned and there were these stoned guys on the rails that blocked the view. Dumb asses. Anyway I think everyone was on the same wavelength so no one had the gumption to tell them to sit down. That's how weird it was. I have to thank the stoned chick for laying down with me and sharing her blanket if that's what the 60s were like DAMN!!!

This is a really nice collection that both the old and new listeners would be happy to lend their ears to over and over. I strongly believe a lot of bands have inspired from their works and has resulted in a really food deal of songs recently. Timrocker ::: Home Care
