    Birth show
I was born during this show (but not at it). I was trying to figure out what time the show started and approx what time each song was being played so I can figure out what song I was born during. Also interested in finding a poster or ticket from the show.

This was the last bus trip I organized. We went to hampton and then baltimore. The minglewood had that harrim feel and I liked musc never stopped. Second set was ok. didn't stop at the carnival. I could use a bus trip right about now.....

Traveled down Rt.64 from RVa to Hampton with a bunch of High School buddies.Indulging in many many things along the way...Remember during Bertha someone throwing a bucket of water into the crowd after" ran into a rain storm" lyric. After that evening i was officially on the bus. The after show was just as wild staying up all night on Va beach...

Does anyone else remember a carnival set up in the lot next to the Coliseum circa this time period? Don't remember the exact years, but it was there 2 or 3 years in a row on the same days as the Dead shows in Hampton. We remember coming out of the concert and tripping on over to the carnival which was still open, and it seemed very weird and appropriate somehow in our "altered" state...

Corry, yes, the carnival was there 2-3 years in a row. Added a surreal presence to the already-carnival-atmosphere of the Dead kicking-off another Spring Tour at Hampton.

Lived in Hampton from 1979 until 1982 (Stationed at Fort Monroe). This is probably my favorite show. Coming out to the carnival with the ferris wheel lights and sounds and smells was a perfect continuation to the evening.
