    Remember
Two things that really stood out to me at this show. One being another walking around with a photo of her kid asking everyone who would listen if they know this person. The other was a fellow tour head ranting out loud the NARKS are here the Narks are here. 1983 was year of a few shows where we knew they wee on board with us following the band around gathering up info. One other show I remember very clearly was the Chicago / Poplar Creek shows were there was a very heavy feeling of under covers working the scene.

My first birthday show. Happy 20th and just the drinking age in MA at the time. However, I was carded and didn't even get a B-day drink. Thinking the town was scarry - Wound up moving there 5 years later for grad school.

This was towards the end of a long year of touring for me and I was tired. I remember the show being exceptionally lackluster and the band was having some problems. At one point Micky threw a stick at Bobby. I got to the point where I was asking myself, what am I doing. Please read tomorrow nights post. Dougles

It was the best of times it was the worst of times. The Deads first show in Worcester since 1970. I was a college senior at Clark U. Very odd show indeed. Near the end of the show,I think it was just as Jerry started stella blue, Phil left the stage Mickey also left and I think bobby either left or moved to the background. No one was playing except for Jerry and he did about 5 mins of stella instrumental. It was like a musical intervention. It was hard to watch. The boys came back and they finished the show. The next night was amazing,of my favorite shows, but this night was very very strange. Never a dull moment with the Grateful Dead.Namaste:)
