This show really blew the lid off. Most of the songs were great, and I really liked “When Push Comes to Shove” and “Black Muddy River”. Two of my favorites since then, and that really was a night to remember. house cleaning mountain view

Great Box of Rain that night. I remember being stage left and thinking how weird it was to see TV cameras on stage with The Dead. Only Maggie's Farm was broadcast to Farm Aid, not the whole show. The setlist above is vague.

I was at this show and thought it excellent. My friend was standing right next to me the whole time and thought it was lousy. Go figure. The Maggie's Farm is fantastic but Jerry pulls an all-time bad move when Bob starts The Other One and Jerry overrules him with Black Peter.

All I really remember about this show is that during "It’s all over now" the music triggered some sort of past life memory in me. 100% drug free. I do remember Bob plugging Farm Aid in the second set, which sounded horribly cheesy and commercial at the time. The Black Muddy River was touching.

We had a sky-box that nite. Maybe up above nose bleeds, but a stocked bar was nice!

I remeber a running joke on this tour about that close being either tons of steel or "blck cruddy encore" alot....I like both songs, but there were times that they got old.
