We went all 3 nights, you don't need me to tell you how great it was! Went backstage one of the nights (can't remember which night-I was tripping) said hello to the band, while tripping!!!! 34 years on those 3 nights rank as supernova occasions..... Love & Peace to all my fellow Deadheads.

    First time
First GD show I ever saw. Not bad considering that I'd been into them for about 18 months by then, and I lived in Cardiff. There must have been many American based heads who waited longer to see them within 140 miles of home. I went up to London and stayed with a friend who also had a ticket. He was working so I went up to the Pally in the afternoon, found an open side door [remember I actually had a ticket] and saw the crew in the last stages of assembling the wall of Sound. I ended up helping set up the [very small by today's standards] merchandising stall. During which I got to say a quick hi to both Jerry and Bob as they stopped to chat to the merchandising guy. After the show I helped take down the stall and got my reward - two long posters - a GD Skeleton & Roses [basically the skullfuck sleeve] and a similar size one for Jerry's then new Garcia [Compliments] album. I still have them and having moved recently it's about time they went back up on the walls. Maybe not the best of the 10 shows I saw but we all know what they say about the first time.....
