Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have music from three distinct periods in Grateful Dead history, much as we did last week, but with a couple of different years thrown in, from 1977, 1984, and 1994.
Our first selection this week is from the cool October tour through the south and southwest, with music from 10/7/77 in Albuquerque, NM: Ramble On Rose ; Passenger ; Terrapin Station > Playing In The Band.
Next is the tour-opening set from the Fall Tour of 1984, on 10/5/84 in Charlotte, NC, where we have Bertha > The Promised Land ; West L.A. Fadeaway; Little Red Rooster; Dupree's Diamond Blues ; My Brother Esau; Brown Eyed Women ; Feel Like A Stranger; Might As Well.
Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 10/1/94 in Boston, a great show from the Fall Tour of 1994: Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain ; Way To Go Home ; Saint Of Circumstance > Terrapin Station.
Be sure to join us next week for more tunes from deep within the Grateful Dead’s vault.
