Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1973, 1983 and 1994.
Our first stop this week is from the outstanding October, 1973 tour, part of a sustained period of excellence that last from early September through mid December 1973. From the first set of the 10/27/73 show in Indianapolis, we have El Paso, Brown-Eyed Women, Greatest Story Ever Told, Loose Lucy, Beat it On Down The Line, China Cat Sunflower>I Know You Rider.
Next up is the post-Drums sequence from 10/21/83, an excellent show at the Worcester Centrum, a week after the show from Hartford that became Dick's Picks Vol. 6. From Worcester, we have Space>Truckin'>Wharf Rat>I Need A Miracle>Touch Of Grey, Johnny B. Goode.
Lastly this week is music from 10/18/94 at Madison Square Graden, the Dead's final run of shows at the MSG. From the start of the second set, we have Iko Iko, Samba In The Rain, He's Gone'>Smokestack Lightning>Truckin'.
