Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we have music from 1972, 1974 and 1987.
Our first selection is from the first leg of the terrific Fall Tour of 1972, on 9/23/72 in Waterbury, CT, featuring this second set sequence: It's All Over Now, Baby Blue ; Cryptical Envelopment > Drums > The Other One > Wharf Rat ; Beat It On Down The Line ; Ramble On Rose.
Next is a cool sequence from the final show of the Europe '74 tour on 9/21/74 in Paris, featuring errific Fall Tour of 1972, on 9/23/72 in Waterbury, CT, featuring this second set sequence: Seastones>Playing In The Band>Drums>Playing In The Band. It's always enjoyable to hear the rest of the band join in for a full Grateful Dead jam seguing out of Phil and Ned's electronic experimentation.
Our last stop this week is on the second-to-last night of the five show run at Madison Square Garden in 1987, from 9/18/87, featuring the start of the show, Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo; It's All Over Now ; High Time ; Mexicali Blues > Big River ; When Push Comes To Shove.
Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.
