    Since things seem to have gone a bit haywire with the old New Vines topic, I'm starting a new one. Here's the basic info on what the deal is with vines, for those just joining us: With collaboration from various kind folks in the Dead.net vining community, our own erickat prepared this handy guide explaining how vining works hereabouts.     is Dropbox, but I'm not sure what their current file limit is for free accounts. I wound up upgrading recently so I had a place to send my phone photos, as the phone doesn't have much storage. I'll probably wind up putting my itunes library there so I can access it from wherever as well, but I'm not what you'd call an early adopter of this stuff so I'm pretty behind the curve of all the possibilities.

    but it didn't stick. https://www.wetransfer.com/ This is a free service that allows you to email up to 2gigs to your friends. You more or less upload your files to their server and they send a download link to your friends. It works good, and is free!

    If you are talking about vining those 2 recently surfaced SBDs, yes, I am going to do that, but probably not for a little while. I want to complete the PF vines first. Definitely by later this year, if you can hold off that long. I probably already have the Yes Tales stuff, but if they are recent upgrades or something I would definitely sign up for it. I have about 40 Yes shows so if you need something let me know

This is in honor of the Dave's Picks Volume 1 release. I think its a great show and probably my favorite year. The same night of this stellar show Star Wars A New Hope opened in theaters. This will be a DVD vine with two different movies. 01. Star Wars Holiday Special - The show was broadcast in its entirety only once, in the United States and Canada, November 17, 1978, on the U.S. television network CBS. The high point of the special is generally considered to be the animated segment produced by Nelvana known as "The Faithful Wookiee". Not only does the cartoon introduce Boba Fett, but his jet pack and rope gun as well, which are not used again in the movies until Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi four and a half years later. The only copies that circulate are from fans that recorded the show. 02. Star Wars Spoofs - This is a great compilation video of Star Wars related tv shows. My favorites are The Muppet Show with Luke, CP3O and R2D2 and a short called Troops. A "COPS" parody that takes place on Tatooine during the time Luke spent with Ben Kenobi. Let me know if you can't copy DVD's and want copies. I'll get them to you somehow.

Any interest in a vine of Dire Straits and/or The Police? I've acquired quite a few really nice-sounding shows from these bands. I will be burning some discs for a good friend here and it would be efficient to burn discs for a vine here at the same time.

The former, you don't have to be logged in for, and for that reason, in my opinion, it's pretty useless. The latter, on the other hand, will show you what's had activity since you were last logged in, in the order of most recent. I note, for example, that this topic is showing up as most recent in my My Recent Posts, because I just posted in it. All Recent Posts is marginally useful if you're just checking in from the net, but if you're looking to participate, log in already. Thank you.

I don't log on anywhere near as often as I did in the past. Too many changes that really didn't offer any improvements at all. Only made things much harder. I am grateful for all the great music I was able to get during the past year. I still check for PM's occasionally. Let me know If I can do anything for you. Some great people here too!! is rhino really trying to kill this web site or what ???? where is the last frigin post ???? where is the metatopic ?? thius site should just be fuckin dropped off thge planet cuz that is what it feels like !!!! this used to be a cool place but now its a frigin mess !!! thanks for the music everyone ,, i really wish that I could be a part of all this like i used to be ,, i been DL like crazy and have no way sharing of anything on this what is now a crappy web site ...... thanks for the memories ......
