    Just saw that the Dead are playing at the Mid-Atlantic Inaugural Ball this weekend -- anyone know how to get inside? This is one more more of those parties where you have to know a senator to get in... ugh! Glen

    tourdog12 I too tried to get presale tickets for the sat show but got shut out in the badly explained presale.I registered the night before and went to login about 11:35am to make sure everything was alright to my surprise i was stuck in the que and sat there for 2 hours only to find there were no tickets. if presale starts at 12 it should be at 12 who new there would be a que and how early you would be allowed to wait also what was with the p1,p2 ticket types a good friend was able to get one ticket in the worst seats in the building for the top 96 dollar price if ever there was a 65 dollar ticket it would be this seat.The other problem was mail order we joked about doing it the old fashioned way and only found out about the mail order by accident and too late to risk sending money off. Anyways enough whining I could really use 2 tickets in the building 4 would be better but greedy. I have been to every show the dead have ever played in worchester and would hate to get shut out this time around tourdog12@aol.com

    I found a way to go to get tix, hotel, gas, etc. with NO cash!
    The catch is, you need to be a Northwest Airlines WorldPerks member. You can spend miles for gift cards/certificates to the following... TicketsNow (a TicketBastard Co.) - 17,000 miles per $100 Marriott Hotels (and their holdings) - 45,000 miles for $250, 89,000 for $500 4 different levels of Hyatt hotel offers - miles vary Shell Gas - 9,000 miles per $50 There's also Starbucks coffee and several restaurants offered as well. So, theoretically, if you have enough miles built up (I only have 42k) you could literally pay for the entire thing, tix, hotel, gas & food! I know that this info will only help a few people, but if I help even one person have a great time, then it's worth it. I am in desperate need of a ticket for shoreline tomorrow. I anticipated that I would be working but things fell through so now I need a ticket. I live near sacramento and am willing to drive out of the way up to about 2 hours earlier in the day or pick it up on the way to the show. My UI stimulus still has not kicked in and I have about ten bucks in quarters and almost enough gas for a round trip to shoreline from Monterey....anyway, I just wanna put that out now that were about 24 hours away from the parking lot opening and I'm not finding any solutions yet...yikes anyway baronson@yahoo.com is easier to navigate than the inbox here which has been lagging for hours. I've uploaded pictures two hours ago that have not yet appeared...poor servers are getting a workout! Bob_Who

I am 29, and I am heart-wrenchingly unfortunate to not have ever seen the Grateful Dead during the Jerry years. I have litterally dreamnt of seeing the Dead and everytime I listen to that magical music I get chills thinking about what it would be like to be there in person!! I would love the opportunity to see The Dead at the Rothbury this year but can only feasibly afford one ticket. I have to bribe a friend to go by buying him ticket b/c he isnt into the same kind of fantastic tuneage that we are all in to (his super loss). And I unfortunately dont know anyone who can swing a ticket and tag along with me that actually wants to go. If someone would be so kind as to sell me a ticket for a bit cheaper than the 270.00 face value or maybe even super kind enough to give me one that they cant use I would GREATLY appreciate the opportunity to experience the Dead as I may never have another chance to see them live! I love them so very much. It would mean the entire world to me!

I have a pair on the floor for both Dec. 8 and Dec. 9. I am interested in trading the floor for the balcony for the 8th (or the 9th if the 8th isn't happening). I probably prefer the floor to get closer personally, but my wife is more a 'hang back' and 'be able to sit' type (I know!). So, anyone? My friend and I decided too late that we could manage to catch one show this tour if we can find tickets, either Atlanta or Asheville (we are about the same distance from both venues). If anyone has two for either of those shows that can't be used, we will gratefully buy them from you at face plus all your fees or maybe a little more if necessary. Hello to my kind brothers and sisters. I am in search of at least one ticket to the Tabernacle (Atlanta show). My daughter has never seen a show and wants to go with me. I have tickets for me and my wife (my daughter didn't want to go at first) but after listening to my tunage, she is really hyped to attend.
